HR commissioned these posters to lift morale. I printed them in colour. Morale has been measured since. It is lower.
Every poster has a Monday count printed on it. Here it's 975, a sample number; in the app it's yours, worked out from your own retirement date and updated every week. The app has more than thirty of them, shuffled every time you look: office ones, building-site ones, kitchen and shop-floor ones, and a series of calm photographs with a small, unwelcome reminder at the bottom.

Why posters?
Every workplace has a poster somewhere saying that teamwork makes the dream work. There's been one above me since the last restructure, and it's peeling at the corners. We wanted the opposite: posters that tell the truth gently and let you laugh about it with the people who are stuck in the same meeting.
They're written for the whole working world, not just offices. There's one for the tradie whose quote said two days, one for the kitchen when table six orders eight cocktails five minutes before close, and one for the shop worker checking out the back for a size that doesn't exist.
How to use them
In the app, pick a poster and share it to the group chat, your status, or the work channel if you're feeling brave. The number updates every Monday, so the same poster tells a slightly better story each week. Every poster is made on your phone; nothing about you is sent anywhere.
